I recently met a friend who works with my wife in downtown Charleston. I told him that I like to look at coins and he mentioned to me that he has been dumping his change into boxes for years. I asked if I could get the collection from him since he told me he was going to take it to bank and just cash it in.
The total change he had in those boxes came out to be a little over $2,600. There's around $650 in cents with the rest a mixture of nickels, dimes and a lot of quarters.
Some of the stuff that I have been posting lately on the forum is coming from this collection.
As if a numismatist died and went to heaven... LOL... That is awesome and alot of change... I thought a hundred was alot... LOL... That will give you something to do for awhile!!!
