[Example] Lincoln Double Error (Double Struck & Struck Thru Grease)

This No Date Lincoln Error is a bit unusual as it has been attributed as not only being Double Struck but also as being Struck Thru Grease.

It has been graded as MS-63 Red.

      thats a neat coin!

It brings up a question for me how a error coin can grade MS 63 with almost all the detail missing from the bust?

Like the 1922 No D, I believe most of the grade is the strong reverse because the obverses all exhibit a very mushy strike.
Got to get some pros in here for the final answer.

I have never read a rational explanation explaining the way errors that have parts of the sign obliterated get graded.
