[Example] 1987 Lincoln Struck on a Defective Planchet

This is a 1987 Lincoln which has been struck on a Defective Planchet and is graded AU-58.

This coin was found in circulation a few months ago. It would not have taken to much more pressure and the planchet would have proably broke apart.

The damage (Fissures) are deep on the obverse, however not deep enough as to show on the reverse.

Now that was a fun find, and an education. I did not know it could be graded and slabbed as such. Thanks for sharing.
