[Example] 1993 With A Strong Double Die Clash on Obverse

I pulled this from a bank roll about 20 minutes ago. I wasn't going to post it, however I couldn't remember seeing a nice Doubled Die Clash like this on the LCR.

So if there is one posted here is another nice one.

This one you can even see the steps of the Memorial Building to the right of Lincoln's eye's.

The doubling of the Columns is really prevalent and the Column below the ear is sometimes mistaken for another remnant of another ear.

The Reverse is hard to photograph but it also shows two outlines of Lincoln's Bust.

    Joe,
That is a very nice clash. I had found one a while ago that is pretty strong, but it is on a 1994. They almost look like the same clash except yours is a doubled clash, and mine is a triple clash! I love these things.

That is real cool. I haven't seen one that strong in a long time. Nice find.

That's a nice one Joe! Congrats!

Here's two that I like. First is multiple clash. Second is where the inverted and incused clash remnants of the word ONE can be seen. Very seldom are clash remnants visible at or near the edges of the coin.

I like both of those Bob and Billy. I agree they are neat looking if you can find them at an early stage. Thanks for sharing.

What's really interesting is that although both of ours are 1993, the clashes don't line up- they are different double clashes!

Those are all really nice clashes. I like yours too Billy, and you are correct that it is seldom seen with the outer devices clashed like yours. Seems like 1993 was a prime year for a lot of them, including this MAD Clash I found shortly after the 2000P 'Extra Beard Remnants' uproar a year or two ago. This one and a couple of 2000P Mad Clashes leaves no doubt about it being a misaligned clash.

Well....for some reason, this won't show my photo even though it says it is already attached. Maybe It will show up some time later.

Those are really neat clashes. I wish I could play show and tell too, but I don't have any cool clashes.
Maybe tomorrow I'll find one. lol
