Well I hope we are right on this one then. I'll bet Bob P. will let us know for sure before long.

That one seems to be harder to find than 2,3, and 8.

I agree Brad. I did find a couple of 008s, and maybe a dozen or so -003s before I finally found the 007. I believe 004 and 007 will be your tougher finds in that series, but they can be found with patience and perseverance.

Where would you rank DDO 1? I know there is a lot of demand for it, but is it rarer than the others...or do you think that it is just more easily found?

I would like to know this too. Does anyone know the pop. of the 72 varieties?

I don't know the pop of the DDO-001, but I did find mine in a BU roll about 12 years ago. I expect that once this DDO was discovered, thousand of rolls and bags were searched for it, and because it was naked eye visible, was removed from circulation easily. I do not believe people took a lot of time to look for it with loupes or scopes. Of course, I also don't know when it was produced. It wasn't until some time later when the other varieties for the date were found, and most of those were found by people using loupes or scopes. I do know of 11 copies of the DDO-001 that were found in bags or rolls, either bank wrapped or other, since I found mine. So...they can still be found, but with a lot of searching and no guarantees of course.
