Very difficult to say how many coins were affected either before or after this beautiful clash. Since the clash is very sharp, and un-abraded, it is safe to assume your coin was one of the first struck after the clash.

There is actually no way of determining when the die clash struck the planchet that you have. At nearly 10,000 strikes per hour or approximately 2 struck coins per second we can get a rough idea. If the reaction time it would take for the operator to shut down the press was in the area of 5 to 10 seconds, then we would be looking at 10 to 20 coins struck with that pair of dies. This is just a ball park estimate and I imagine no more than 100 coins were struck with this clash.
Having said that, I would very much like to put this clash on MADdieclashes.com. If you would like to send your coin down to me, please contact me at MADdieclashes@aol.com.
