1922 Plain

Hi Folks
Haven't been around for a while, hope everyone has been doing well! Here is what I think is a 1922 No-D die pair #2. I've been wrong before plenty of times, and I would appreciate your opinions as I am going to sell my collection, including the 88-D RDV's. Let me know what you think, the front is pretty worn, but there are nice but worn lines on the wheat ears... AND Thank You in Advance..

I am guessing it is a die #2, but it sure has seen a couple whacks. It would sure be easier to tell with a picture of the entire obverse and reverse. The reverse looks like it might make a 12, but the obverse would probably hold it to VG.

I think this one would require a hand examination. It may be a very weak D, or someone may have removed the D then cleaned the coin to hide it. Could be Die 4 also. If you see a shadow D or even a Bump, then it is not Die 2.

That is exactly what I use and used for all 1922's. It is far and away the easiest I have seen to follow so long as you remember each detail has to match because there was only one die set for each type. Only minor differences are permitted due to wear.
