My experiance with buying coin rolls on ebay

Hey all I wanted to have like a picture show for everyone as I went through a roll of wheaties I bought on ebay. It stands to be seen if I paid way to much for them. That being said I picked up the first coin in the roll and it was a 1952 D RPM with nice spliting on both serifs. Hope the rest of the roll is as good.
This coin looks alot like 1952D-1MM-006. I'm not sure though. The markers are not there. If it isn't it may be a new variety for CC's. What do you all think??

Looks more like #2 to me. Did you check markers ?

Looks like 006 as compared in this link: Keep in mind that 022 is close but the position of the MMs are different.

I looked at 002 as well. If it is it I can't see those markers either. The coin has alot of circulation wear so it may not be possible to tell for sure.

Shannon, I am looking at location. #6 doesn't even seem close so I got #2 by elimination.

The lower serif of the 002 MM is a damaged punch so that should be able to identify Shannon's coin or at least eliminate 002.

As Shannon pointed out, there is a lot of wear,especially where the damage is on #2. Guess we'll wait for Bob to chime in.
