Well, I found this today looking through some random wheats. Could someone tell me if this is an Omm, or a RPM? Or, just some damage. Your explanation is appreciated!
Thanks!
Mark
This is definitely a very nice rpm. It is listed on Coppercoins as 1957D-1MM-015 and it is actually a tripled "D" with punchings to the North and South of the main mint mark. Images of this die can be found here: http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/d...&die_state=mds
Nice Find! Thanks for the quick match Chugly.... You saved my eyes!
No problem, just happy to help. But now, since your eyes got a good rest, you have to go out and find another one! Actually, I have searched a ton of 1957-D's and have never found that particular RPM. I'd say its pretty uncommon. Congrats again!
