1964 D 1mm-006 or 1mm-008?

    1964 D 1mm-006 or 1mm-008?

    I'm having difficulties with this one. I can't tell if it's a #6 or a #8. No markers are visible. I'm leaning more towards #8. What are your thoughts?

    Edited: I just did a layover and #6 matches and on #8 my MM is too high.

    006 if you ask me!. See how the vertical line is visible ONLY in the middle section of the Vertical bar?. On the 008 in goes past and starts to curve into the corner. I think its 006. By the way...what are you pointing at?..lolol

            The correct term is Overlay...not layover, but we get the picture. You will find that the overlay, and also a grid can be a huge help with mintmark positioning and identification. Congrats on your find.
