    1970s Strange FAT mint mark

Friends,I have atleast 7-10 1970s Pennys. They all have a the S mint mark as described here on this forum about MINT MARKS.This one looks ODD,why?
I compared it to the S over S on Ken Potters site and it does not match. It shows no clear Doubling, yet its FAT thick S.
Did I find a Rare S mint mark? Whats your thoughts on this find?

    God Bless,
    Beck,
    Linclon Penny Treasure Hunter.

PS:Just found a 1969d with a Strange DDO-Like Heavey Error.Entrie Face covered with another something. It ADDED to the Penny a second Layer over Linclons Face.

    Hi Beck,

There is no "fat S" variety mintmark. You have a normal 1970s.

Beck, I should warn you that you're not being taken seriously around here. I'm not trying to be mean, but you are causing some tension here on the forum. You keep inventing new, nonsense varieties. I can tell people are losing interest in helping you (and being nice to you!). We keep telling you that you need to buy some books, and so far I haven't seen any evidence that you've done so. A book would have been a far better purchase than a camera. That way you could have educated yourself and answered almost all of your questions. It will help you unterstand what you need to look for so you don't need to invent things to look for. I would recommend "Looking Through Lincoln Cents" by Charles Daughtry or the Authoritative Reference on Lincoln Cents by John Wexler and Kevin Flynn. I usually stay out of these sorts of situations, but I think people have had trouble finding the words to say to you.

Anyway, if there is one thing you take away here, it is that you must buy a book and read it. If you say anything in reply here, please answer the following question: have you purchased yourself an educational book on varieties? Yes, or no?

I'm ok with this inquiry. It is not the same question repeated and as of yet the OP is not arguing. That said, it is an easy answer in that the coin has a normal mintmark that has been circulation rubbed and appears thicker. The study of mintmarks is bets done with multiple BU specimens, then compare them with pictures on this site (LCR) or the ones Wiles has on VarietyVista.
