    1954 s ddo?

Hello, this is my first post. I came here to see if what I have is a legitimate variety, a deteriorated die, or machine doubling. To me it appears to be a DDO. Has anyone seen this before, and if so, can you please tell me the full attribution? Would something like this carry a premium?

Welcome to the LCR! It looks like die deterioration to me...so no premium, sorry! But if you keep posting great pictures like you did here, helping you out should be a breeze. Once again welcome!

It looks like it's die wear. The pics are nice!

      Welcome to LCR!

Dah! So it is die deterioration...I was really hoping it was a true DDO. Cool finds just don't happen with me Actually I take that back...as I was searching for an answer I found the LCR! So now I can LEARN the difference between doubled dies and worn dies.

        Thanks for the quick responses!
