1968D RPM (die chip or new rpm)

Its amazing what proper battery power in your light will do for you.. This kinda popped out at me... At angles unavailble for photo since i only have two hands to hold three items.... There does appear to be the faintest continuation of the secondary D outside the primary... Or at least thats what my contact assisted vision shows me... Im positive it isn't 008

    Please offer an opinion.

    Having fun now!

I just can't see anything. In which direction are you seeing the doubling?

I think that he might be reffering to the bar in the middle? Looks like a gouge to me.... Let's hope I am wrong!

I think I agree with Bob on this one. Maybe a verticle bar on the inside of the M.M. but it looks to large to be another RPM and no other remnants on the exterior. I would throw it back unless you have another PUP, "Pick up point". Eric

          Additional photo

This pohot either shows the continuation i mentioned in my original post or its some sort of die deterioration... it does look like a full D, however I imagine its difficult at best to determine from an image...

This pic makes it easy. This is die deterioration.
