    1928 Large S?

So, I was at my dealer's today and bought this coin for $1. He's not any kind of variety guy, and I also managed to pick 2 Doubled dies as well... So any way, here is my question.. Is this a Large MM 1928S??? I compared it to other 1928S's and it is DEFFINATLEY larger, and looks more like the large MM. Thanks!

Alex, to me it does appear to be the Large S variety mint mark. Check for yourself here http://www.lincolncentresource.com/S...rk_Styles.html

Also have you invested into any of BadThads awesome stuff called Verdi-care? It would do wonders for that coin.

              A. is that BradThad's auction? B. I can't veiw it right now, but shortly will search it on another computer. C. So it SAFLEY cleans and protects the coin WITHOUT damaging or removing its value?

                A. Yes it is his auction.
                C. Alex, I use 100% pure acetone, NOT plain nail polish remover to get gunk off of a coin. a short soak. After drying I use Verdi-care as directed in the instructions. You will be amazed. It does not damage a coin. I have used it for a couple of years now and had absolutely zero problems.

Wow, so you just soak in the verdi care, (or something else?) then follow the instructions? Cool!

No, you will need to read the instructions. I do not have mine in front of me. Basically you put some on a non-lint cloth and press the coin into it. then rotate the coin back and forth while pressing it. Repeat process on opposite of coin. After this wipe of excess with another non-lint cloth.

Now BACK TO THE THREAD. Yes the large "S" is worth more than the small "s"; but not a lot was looking a couple days ago decent circ.'s $4 - $7 bucks.
