Another find from the 70+ pound bag of wheats...I HOPE

Many of you know I have had the pleasure of searching through a 70+ pound bag of wheats from a coworker. I have gone a bit over half way through it now. I have found a total of 29 different RPMs, around 15 very minor DDO/DDR, and then last night I found this one. I believe it to be the 1941P-1DO-003 listed on Coppercoins. Unfortunately CC does not have any markers listed to help confirm this. Tell me what you think.

Thanks. I hope to be able to compile a lot of what I find and post them for sale here on LCR first before I send them to the bay. This is for my coworkers retirement. I am not going to making a lot for myself, but I am have a blast looking through them and gaining more experience along the way.

Just weighed the remainder of the bag. I still have 31 pounds to go. He also tells me when I jet done he has a hoard of copper memorials he wants me to look through. Hands on education. You cannot beat that.

I like the DD's that jump out at you without magnification.

Casey, it has been a blast. Far too many minor finds to show them all, but this is better than Christmas. I cannot wait until I get to looking through his memorial bag. It weighs damn near 35 pounds.

Nice find Sean, I only wish I could get my hands on a stash like that.

Just spread the word to anyone family and friends that will listen. What you do, what you collect. I have had 4 stashes that I have now gone through. None that have been the volume of this one, but you never know.

I get mine from my local dealer. Its been probably a year since the last time I got any from him (sine I don't have the time anymore) any that he would get would come directly to me to search and I could keep anything I want I just give the rest back. Worked out nice since he didn't have the time to do it. I got a lot of varieties that way.

Highjacking Sean thread... The problem i'm having with this is the price of copper. I cannot pay 3C for memorials to go through and then dump them. The price of copper some dealers are beginning to melt our coins down, really S-CKs! Because some nice stuff has probably already gone...

That is where family and friends come in. Many people hoard, but have no idea what they are hoarding.
