    1944 RPM or gouge?

Hi all, I have this coin that has somewhat of a mintmark-shaped anomaly under the mintmark. Nothing matches on coppercoins. I'm either thinking a die gouge or an RPM. What do you guys think?

Looks close to 011. Coneca shows stage C with a NNW die crack on the shoulder.

No die crack on the shoulder. Now that I look at it, it does look like 011, although not as bold/detailed.

Definitely a nice rpm there again. I'd go with #011 as well, yet yours is likely and earlier die state. Great find!

I tried to do an overlay, but the format of the PNG image won't open in Photoshop. JPEG images are better.

Thanks Simon. It is a match. 1944D-1MM-011 it is.
