I ran across this 1953 LWC this morning. It has some doubling between the "L" and the inside of the "I" in LIBERTY, and also along the outside edge of the "3" in the date. I suspect this could be machine doubling, but thought I'd ask the Lincoln Cent Resource Professors about what your thoughts are on this sample! I'm calling it my "1953 Poor Man's Double Die".
Put any consulting fees on my tab please!!
