    1953 s rpm?

I think this is an RPM, I just can't tell which one it is. I think it might be a number 15. The MM position doesn't match anyone pictured on coppercoins.com. #15 is one that is not pictured there and my coin has one of CONECA's markers for #15...the light die scratch Northwest from B of LIBERTY. Does anyone have this RPM and can look at my pictures and see if the MM position is the same or different?

There is no doubt it is an RPM, and the spread is actually pretty strong. I will search what I have here to see if I can match it up. It might match up to RPM-022 from the RPM book. Coppercoins does not have a copy of that variety yet. Between all of us, we might nail it down.

Thanks Bob. I appreciate you taking the time to look for me. Let me know what you find. I really need a copy of that RPM book, I just can't see dropping $150 on it.

            Dave,
I haven't been able to track down an RPM-022. I don't have one in my collection either. The best I can do is take a guess based on what I see in the RPM book, and 022 seems to be the closest I can come up with. I wouldn't expect one that strong would not have been attributed by now, but I have been wrong twice this year already!!

Wow Wheat Cents!!! That was very helpful!!!! I see that the MM position on mine doesn't match #15 but is a perfect match for #22. Excellent!! Thanks for coming to the rescue.

Those are semi tough also. I agree with John, My #15 matches his marker's and the mintmark position is correct with my RPM#22... Nice job John.
