    First 80s RPM... I think!?

I think this is an LDS of the #01 RPM for 81. The coin is circulated to the markers are VERY hard to see... Here are pics of the date and MM...

It is an RPM. Have you attempted or do you know how to do overlays? Based on the condition of the coin, that may be the only way to attribute it to RPM-001. If it is an unlisted one based on mint mark position, it may be unlistable because of the coin's condition.

The lower image shows little circulation damage.

If you have photoshop you create a transparent layer and take a picture of the date/mm and resize it so that it matches the image size on coppercoins, and "lay it over"...I have a photoshop CD somewhere around here. Never got around to installing it. Maybe I should...

I'm pretty sure there is a thread on here somewhere about overlays.

There are two possibles. 001 & 003. But I'm leaning toward 003 as it matches the best. Without images of the tops/sides of the date on CC it makes it harder to determine. But 003 looks closest to me.

Don't find many early 80's rpms... It's a nice find.
