    I've been looking for the '99 CLAM ever since I bought an "98 for $3 from a shop. I keep asking for proof sets at the local show and I'm sure they think I'm nuts.

        Really depends Sean- if it were me, I'd be shipping it off to one of the auction houses we use along with a bunch of other coins. Slab rates through auction houses are considerably lower, but they generally expect a minimum $1,000 consignment. If my only option was a direct submission, the cost would eat up most profit.

        I think you'd do best to put it up on eBay in the set with good pictures, let someone else take the gamble. It'll sell quickly at $99 and that's nearly all profit! Sure you might be able to get a little more, but in my world time is money, I'm always happy with a quick turnover that brings slightly less profit.
