Need help attributing this coin, it is the first RPM I have ever found personally. Not sure what that extra metal flow on it is. Any help would be appreciated. There is nothing wrong with the reverse, if you need a pic of it, I will be happy to add it. Thanks for looking.

Welcome to the forum!
Yes, that is an RPM (either rotated or tilted). Here is a link to check through the listings. Put in 1952 for the date, Denver for mintmark, and click "mintmark varieties". See if you can match one up by using die markers/mintmark location. http://coppercoins.com/advsearch.php -

Welcome to the forum!
It could be CONECA RPM 006 or 024 (not CC 1MM-024 which is different). Is there a die chip on the T in CENT? Is that anomaly near the D a hit?Last edited by jcuve; 03-29-2013, 08:16 PM.

I have the obverse of 006 HERE. I don't have a shot up of the crack on the T. What you have could be a later stage of 006 or another similar RPM not listed by CONECA. Wexler has a bunch of others. Maybe PM or email Wiles and get his view.

jcuve - I clicked on that link but the picks did not show a reverse of the 1952D"If Free Speech stops when someone gets offended, it is not really Free Speech."Comment
