    kinda looks like a lamination...Is the metal "pealed" up? If that is the case it is a lamination...if it is raised metal laying atached to the surface of the coin...then it is a crack...

      its not peeling it even goes across the top of the m and you can see the very top of the m above the "crack". it looks like it was pressed that way jmo though.

        Not a die crack, looks more like a crack in the plating...

          Laminations happen on solid metal planchets. Not on Zincolns. They are plated zinc. Can you see any zinc under the area in question? It maybe a split in the plating.

              It almost looks like a retained cud but it dont look like its connected to the rim. Im leaning towards some kind of odd die chip.
