    Die gouge on 98D?

    I just wanted to make sure this is a gouge and not a column. Thanks!

      Looks like a tilted column from what I see. The fluting line is visible. A gouge would not show that.

          I wouldn't list it as a doubled die unless there were some 'other' evidence that it's a doubled die. It looks like a gouge to me.
