Just found this. See tie & neck. Wondering is it a DD, Strike Doubling, or cud. Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Very interesting coin. I disagree with it being machine doubling. The anomalies are "extra" and do not cut into the normal design. I would say they have to be the result of die damage. I agree with Will. I have seen this on several wheat cents from the 1950s(the neck area) but this is the first I've seen this effect on the bowtie. It's too crisp to be abrasion and definitely not a clash or strike doubling.“What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence.”Comment
