Picked this up this last weekend, thought it might be an RPM, couldn't match it up. It looks a lot like the other 48 s in question. Figured I'd open another thread. Seems like my phone only lets me do 1 picture at a time??

It is a RPM, but a minor one. I couldn't find a match on CONECA or Wexler's Publication. (But everything is not listed in this book.)Last edited by coop; 03-25-2014, 02:13 PM.Richard S. It wouldn't surprise me at all if there weren't at least a few unlisted minor RPMs for 1948S with only 9 listings on CC. I think I am seeing a split serif and something west on the upper curve. Is the other serif split, I can't tell?

Yeah, not real sure either. I was thinking the west side of the upper curve, and possibly south under the serif.Comment
