    1943d rpm? Please help!!!

    I cant seem to find anything like this one on CC unless its 014 but there is no picture if anyone can help id appreciate there is definate spread of the upper serif and slight doubling near the bottom curve thanks

    Not really sure this is rpm posible debris; color not right. But could be.

      I am not totally convinced that this is a RPM either. I would think that the best bet is to send it to either Bob P. or Chuck D. for attribution and see what they say.

        Hey John, look at the bottom of the "D" is there anything there. If not I would guess it was a bagmark or a hit. To bad on the shape, if it was a little less oxidised it would be easier to tell. I know it's not W021, or W040

            I would say that what we are seeing is the corrosion that has accumulated around the mintmark. I do not believe this to be an RPM at all.

              Either corrosion build up or corrosion that has caused the zinc plating to erode.
