    1970 S RPM ?

For some reason I decided to give myself a migraine and attempt to attribute a roll of '70 S memorials today??? I've invented at least ten new curse words trying to photograph this coin! . I've diffused, refused, and confused this nugget nine ways from Sunday and the glare is STILL unbearable. I am not worthy! Anyway, I've convinced myself this is worth posting so heregoes. Sarcastic comments are welcome and probably much deserved...

That is really good glare Not as good as mine though... I think you should drink 5 eggnogg bottles and retry in the morning On a serious note it looks more like MD to me... That could be the glare though!!!

Can you see the notch on the upper serif? It's minor but that's what's catching my eye. We are in total agreement on the ' nog theory!

I think it may be another one of those deeply punched mint marks

Are you using any kind of editing software for your shots and can you control the exposure on your camera ? If do there may be a few things you can do to help the glare.
So sad ... My reverse consumption engine was a broken fuel gauge ... gonna look at coins now. John

I agree with Roger, it is just well-punched.

I agree with others. The only things this appears to be something to give you a headache.
