    New RPM???

I found this 61D RPM last year... I have looked through Copper Coins and Wexlers numerous times but have been unable to find any matches... Of course I m not to good at RPM attributions... Does any one have any ideas on possible matches??? I did the best I could with the pics... There are splits on both serifs!!!

Have you checked it with Wiles RPM#32 (Replacement)? The MM placement may be right. Also the markers seem to be there.

                  Jim,
Just a suggestion: I think you might want to take new photos of this one. I am having a hard time confirming that it even is an rpm for certain. There's something funky going on with the lower serif. That's why I didn't make a comment before now, because I couldn't tell for sure. But now I also see that many of the gurus have also viewed the thread without making a comment, so perhaps they are having the same issue I am with it. Maybe a new closeup photo will help you get some more input. Just a thought. Good luck with it.

I'm looking at the tilted anom northwest of the MM between it and the 9.

Oh, I see what you mean, George. I was just writing those off as die scratches. I think we all need some new pics.

Looks like it might have a triple serifs on the lower corner. I agree, need somewhat better pics...

Here are the new pics... I did 3 different with different light intensity... Pic 0002 and 0002-2 are the same pic... I adjusted the brightness on both and of course put arrows for what I think I see... I have still been unable to find any matches!!!

With the new pics, it sure does look like a rotated rpm.
