    1952 S RPM?

Can't find a match, and it is possible that this is not an RPM, but it's always good to check it out before tossing. Maybe I'm just seeing things but just to the right of the mint mark it looks like a faint impression of an S. I'm more than likley seeing things. Thanks ..........................dinkyblue

Your title mentions this one as a D mint coin but as we can see, it is an S mint. This one is interesting, but based on the fact that there is cracking in the 5 of the date, I suspect this might be a crack at the mint mark as well.

I also agree that this is a die crack/chip, not an RPM. Good eyes to notice that, though!

Die crack and a chip, that would seem logical. Thanks for your time...............Dan

Some nice chips... Now you need some dip to go with them
