    1944D RPM 13 - MS66

I grabbed this guy out of a deal's barging slab bin. I believe it is a Stage A (no die crack above VDB and later stage reverse). It is a pretty nice RPM. Sorry my pictures are not the best. I haven't perfected the art of taking pictures through a slab yet.

EDIT: Correction, Jim (jfines69) pointed out that this is actually CONECA RPM 13. Thanks Jim!

Nice one, Dave! That one got your attention quickly, I bet. I always wanna believe it's an S first and then prove myself wrong.
Great pics, too. They look really good to me. Very lifelike.

Very nice pick! Slab shots are tough, and you did well!

Excellent pick... I do not think it is Variety Vista (VV) 008 tho http://varietyvista.com/02a%20LC%20R...944DRPM008.htm Your MM looks to far north and east also VVs primary MM is rotated CW just a tad... To me yours looks closer to VVs 013 http://varietyvista.com/02a%20LC%20R...944DRPM013.htm

By Jove, Jim! You are right!!! Thank you for noticing that. A mint mark location comparison confirms that this die is CONECA RPM 13. Thank you so much!
