I can't find any information on this particular Canadian cent. Can anyone tell me about it and if it may carry any premium? It is in almost perfect condition. I can't see much, if any wear.

You just found what I call an, "Indian cent of the North." i.e. A King George V small cent - way to go!!! I call them this, because they are as rare, if not rarer than Indian cents to find (and I live right near the Canadian border).
You can learn about these and other Canadian coins here:
The value of a canadian coin depends on several factors such as quality and wear, supply and demand, rarity, finish and more. Values in the section are based on the market, trends, auctions and recognized books, publications and catalogs. This section also includes information on history, errors, varieties, characteristics and more.
Not a big value on the 1928 issues, but with only 9,144,860 minted, they are pretty scarce. If that was a circulation find, great job!!! -
Thank you. It was in a customer rolled coin roll. I just can't find any of them online with this type of reverse design.Comment

REALLY nice circulated find, Sheila!
I routinely see as old as the late 30's Canadian cents here in rolls, but I've yet to find one like this...and that's a super grade you have there. Trés bien!!"And he will tell you, skill is late — A Mightier than He —
