1960 D/D Small Date over Large Date

Hi Folks, Hope everyone is doing great! Last weekend I went to Salt Lake City to a coin show they were having there, I bought a bag of wheats for $150, not to impressed with that but did find a 1926-S, 1929-D in Au, but I also bought some BU rolls, in one of the rolls marked 1960-D LD, I found about 30 SD's and 2 1960-D DDO-001's. I took some pictures of the one that looks to be scratched up a bit, the other is premo and i didnt want to take a chance with it. I was wondering what you folks thought about the die state of this coin, and whether you think this coin would grade at least MS-65 or not. Sorry I had a hard time getting the color to match, the last pic is the closest, it is on a white background. Thanks in advance for your help, much appreciated...

I'm looking on my phone so it's hard to grade, BUT that's one beautiful coin! Nice pickup!

Nice catch. The scratches might hinder this on to reach that grade , but if the other has clean field it might do better

Very nice score and great example of why it can pay to ignore the writing. It makes it easier to grade when the whole coins is visible. But I think it will be difficult to get a grade that high with the scratches/marks above LIBERTY.

I find that a lot of red 60s grade 63-64. If you do better than that on either coin it's a winner.

The die abrasions/gouges from the O of GOD are absent in Stage B and show up in Stage C... I couldn't even guess a grade on your coin... Lots of glare Bet that gave you a headache trying to look at

Congrats on a fantastic find. Later die state on those. Just yesterday someone else posted on one of the facebook groups that he 7 of them in one roll, and they were all EDS. Just unreal. Good luck if you get them graded.
