This looks like a doubled eyelid. Not sure if this is a DDO or just PSD. I don't see any metal that was moved though. Thanks for any input, Jon.
1992 D DDO or PSD?

Don't know Jon.
It looks intriguing but I don't think it can be with the single squeeze method in use at the time.
Good question though is when was the last year for a doubled eyelid?? -
Thanks everybody! After looking at the closeup again this morning, it looks like there may be a void just west of the piece in question right on the eye. That may be where it came from.Attached FilesComment

Not sure Jon, it looks like there's raised metal to the right of the void, like the void is separate from the anomaly.
I checked and it appears that 1959 was the last year of the doubled eyelid. In 1960 it got traded for RPM'S! I didn't look at 1961 and forward so if there are other doubled eyelids from 61 on, someone please let us know.Comment

It might be one of those things that in a pic it looks one way but with a loupe and some angles it might look more like a displaced piece of plating.
It's confusing, it looks not connected to that void but my first though when I saw it was that the thing is so bold almost like it's sitting there on the coin.
If you're pretty sure it's not an eyelid, you might even push it with a toothpick and see if it moves.

Cliff, check out 1992 P WDDO-002. I've been looking as hard for this listing as I have a CLAM. Very cool!! http://doubleddie.com/700034.htmlComment

I usually try the "poke it with a stick" method early on but did not this time. You have once again solved one of my goofy little mysteries Ed. It definitely moved and is now gone. Thanks again Ed!It might be one of those things that in a pic it looks one way but with a loupe and some angles it might look more like a displaced piece of plating.

Thanks for looking at the double eyelids! I only checked Wexler but it looks like they go through 1963 for the most part. I added the 1992 P crazy doubled eyelid earlier for Cliff but check it out! It's the WDDO-002. It's very cool! http://doubleddie.com/700034.htmlComment
