    1928-S RPM#3 Of the bay

Well I think I got lucky and up graded my 28-S RPM#3. I always look close at the 28-S Large Mintmarks. This one has been tough to upgrade.

It may be the MM on your coin or because I am unable to zoom in but that section on the top of the MM looks to far east for 003 CC http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/d...&die_state=mds VV http://varietyvista.com/02a%20LC%20R...928SRPM003.htm Wexler http://doubleddie.com/959799.html

        Jim,
Look at the REV then look at Coneca's markers for stage "C"

Then I am correct??? The crack from the wheat stalk on VVs Stage C arcs back toward the dot and the crack on the 28S on ebay arcs up and to the rim???

            Jim,
I have an attributed RPM#3 in lower grade. The die crack is in the correct place for stage "C" on the coin I bought. The Variety Vista pic has an illusion that the die crack turns - maybe a light spot on the coin - the die crack does not turn.

I would photograph but I got in trouble about posting pics of a sale coin to verify someones RPM so I won't post pics any more simple.

You mean you're upset because we ask you to follow the rules ? Eric, you're better than that....we try to keep everybody following the same rules within reason....it makes things better for everyone

It very well could be the images... CC and Wexler do not show the crack and the pics on VV are not the best... Please let us know the out come when you get the coin... Nothing like a really good pick... I do not buy or sell coins and I am in no way a pro... To let you know it is not that you posted images of a coin to help verify but that you are plugging in the selling aspect when you do... If you want to do the selling and auction stuff you need to be a paid member (Forum Supporter) and place that stuff in the proper forum... The paid members are the ones that help keep this site up and running... It ain't cheap
