    1973D RPM

This Lincoln has had me thinking about "everything bagels"~ I have tried a little bit of everything to get photos of this guy! Jansjo's, indoor light, outdoor light, variations of everything!

This looks like a minor unlisted RPM to me. I am not wanting to make a fuss over this one since it's minor. But if you think about it... we have the best place to document our minor finds right here on the LCF!

Thank you Cliff! I tried to do Larry J's magic trick but I had to tilt the coin on an index card, hold my breath, stop moving and click real fast!

Get some tape and make a little tray like a tv tray set to an angle so it doesn't slide around... Make sure you have a lip to prevent the coin from sliding off!!!

That first pic it looks like there are 2 splits in the lower serif... That may be lighting tho... I looked at CC and there are 2 listed with just a single split serif 004 http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/d...&die_state=mds and 005 http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/d...&die_state=mds so maybe yours is not to minor after all there are only 10 listed and if memory serves me correctly 010 is your discovery http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/d...&die_state=mds at least I think that is your name on there

Cool Jim, that is what I did, minus the tape, just folded up one end of the index card so it wouldn't slide off!

Thank you Jim for looking! Well, Coppercoins 004 and 005 are just split upper serif's. Yes, coppercoins 010 is the discovery that you and Bob helped me with!

I just don't see a split upper serif on this one... hummmm... didn't see one like it on Variety Vista or Wexler.

It sure does look like an RPM to me Viv. This is one of those that probably goes away shortly after entering circulation. If I were still attributing for coppercoins, this one is probably too minor to list. If it did have an upper serif split, it is most likely listable.

Thank you so much Bob for taking a look! Yes Sir, a minor - I tried my best to find an upper split serif, just doesn't seem to be there. This is a pretty coin, much prettier than my pics show. It really stood out in the roll! Thank you very much for your confirmation!

Thank you Jon, you know how it is, once you see a split serif, game's on!
