1963 D possible new RPM or PMD?

I'm not sure if it's an RPM or just PSD. I've looked through all the sites and cannot find a match. Any help would be appreciated, Jon.

Jon, when I zoomed in on your full coin photo there seems to be a lot more going on at the top split than what the close up shows. Also at the vertical there some shadow. Can you try to shoot a different angle? I think the light is washing it out some.

I'm having issues getting anything decent. Here's a few. I'll try to get some better ones tomorrow. Thanks for helping!

It could be... There are 2 bulges on the loop... One at the NE and a smaller on the SE... Also on the date/MM image there appears to be a mark just a little farther NE of the MM in the shape of an arc but I can not see it on the MM close up... The only similar one I found was CCs 015 http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/d...&die_state=mds VVs 015 http://varietyvista.com/02b%20LC%20R...963DRPM015.htm Not a match just similar in nature... Time for Bob to check this one out???

Alright guys. I tried to get some better pics but this guy is fighting me. It looks more layered than having splits though. Let me know what you think.

The closest I felt there was on any of the sites was VV's 012. The orientation looks good and similar attributes.

The shape of the mm looks different though but I suppose that could be due to wear.http://www.varietyvista.com/02b%20LC...963DRPM012.htm

Got to it before you sent the PM but, I have had enough dealings with 1963D RPMs to say that this one is not an RPM...at least not a listable one. When I was including 1963Ds on the site, there were many mint marks with similar bulges. My opinion is that this is a mint mark punch that had some issues. Now that this has been identified, I am sure that the more 1963D cents you go through, the more you will see this anomaly.

Thank you sir!! So something wrong with the punch, gotcha. Different situation but kinda like the 73 Humpback that shows from time to time.

Kind of like the 79D with the broken MM punch... With your new images I also see what looks to be PSD in the same areas!!!
