    Easy RPM attribution!! Woooohooo!!

I found an RPM that wasn't too tough for once!! VV's 1956-D RPM-017.

    Thanks for looking, Jon.

Jon, feel like a heel telling you the placement looks off to be RPM-017.
Yours appears to be slightly lower and further west. Did you see any markers that match VV?

Congrats Jon! It may have been easier, but you still had to do some diggin' to find the listing! Way to go!!!

Well, now I feel like a heel... I think Jon has the attribution correct. Jon is it okay with you if I do a quick overlay? I will not be able to publish it but I can email it to you if you'd like or just let you know what I find.

It's funny you say that Cliff. I tried for almost all day to make this 005 (it's 005 on all of them) and then gave to VV's 017. The coin has a lot of circulation wear but I think the markers still show. See what you think.

Thanks Viv!! I did mess with this one a little more than I let on! I thought for the longest time it was the 005, that would be for all the sites. It wasn't until later today I gave to it being the VV's 017.

I'm definitely not as good at overlay's as Jim is, but the MM location matched VV 017 and I re-did it twice to make sure it was the best I could do

You are welcome Jon! I think your markers are good too, which is quite an accomplishment for a circulated wheat! Thank you Cliff for keeping us on our toes... now let's just hope Jim see's this the same way in the morning

Nice job on the markers Jon.
Thank you for doing the overlay, Viv (Now I feel unheeled ). I was going by visual and I'm glad it turned out to be the 017.

Congratulations Jon on a nice find. It's such a nice feeling when you put time in trying to decide on a variety and it turns out to be on target.

Excellent work. I agree with the others that your markers and position are spot on for CONECA's RPM-017.
