If this is the 001, it's gotta be MDS or LDS, but I don't have good matches on the die markers from coppercoins and Coneca. The MM location is the 001, not the 003. There MAY be a die gouge under the L of Liberty, there's a die gouge on the shoulder (not a die crack), and it has this big die crack/chip on the reverse wheat stalk. Am I just seeing another loop of the S below the S because I want to?
There are only three 25S rpm pictures in The RPM Book, and your coin with that that mint mark position and the loop below it matches 1925S 1c RPM #1 S/S South more than the other two. Nice find!

When is Wexler going to publish his newest edition RPM book - I thought it was coming out this spring? I tried getting a copy of the old RPM book but it's selling for no less than $100 on Amazon.

Really don't know when the new book will be out. It appears to me that our experts are keeping way too busy with the new Lincolns to do much of anything else. Guess we gotta be patient...

All my books and clippings, I have pictures of RPM's 1 thru 6.
Closest is #2 in comparison to position with date, strength of
secondary mm, die crack upper right wheat tip. Wiles says on
#2 that the die crack extends to the M in UNUM. But maybe one
could discard all the die crack stuff maybe because it says STAGE A
has strong secondary MM which is stronger than the stage 2 with
all the die cracks (forehead, over VDB, light crack on coat, lower
right wheat to rim and right wheat tip to M in UNUM). The stage 2
secondary mm is said to be "medium" while stage A is "strong" and
stage C is "weak". Kevin's is strong to me.
