Creating a single photo which can be used for documenting the die markers of an entire Lincoln Cent has been a goal of mine since 2009. It was the whole reason I got into coin photography in the first place, and has driven most of my my photographic learning and experimenting. I still have some refinements to make in lighting and such, but I feel like I have reached the goal, and it is already paying off in helping me to attribute varieties that have long been in my "rainy day" pile.Builder of Custom Coin Photography Setups. On 1DO-014/DDO-005... There are several markers on CCs 014 http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/d...&die_state=mds that match up quickly - The die gouge in the hair and also the die dot on the 5 however all of VVs 005 samples have damage to the 5 at the spot of the die dot... Both CCs 014 and VVs 005 http://varietyvista.com/01a%20LC%20D...957DDDO005.htm show a die dot (gouge) south of the ER in LIBERTY that is not on yours... I would think yours is an EDS??? On the rev the only thing I see that may match CCs are some small die dots along the south side of the E of ONEs lower horizontal bar... There are still a couple on CCs MDS sample but not many??? I am in with EDS on both dies... I really like your photos!!!Jim
