Some Fun Doubled Dies and an RPM For Good Measure

My CRHing has basically dried up and I've moved on to ancients mostly so I decided to take pictures of a couple of my cooler varieties that I haven't posted here yet - I don't think at least. Thanks for looking

    1971P DDO-001 also MAD obverse

Those are some really nice finds furry! Congrats! You might have an unlisted Stage E of the 1995P DDO, Die 001, looks like the die chip in the second 9 is larger than Variety Vista's Stage D. Going back to look at the die crack behind the ear and the die crack in the lower R of Liberty. BRB

Looks like you have the chip in the R and the die crack extending to the top of the head! Let's see what the guys say but I think this might be a good one to send to Dr. Wiles for a Stage E listing!

I searched them all. Couldn't slow down haha. There wasn't a lot in them but it sure was fun to go through. Taking them to the bank on the other hand...not so much. We averaged probably 15 wheats per bag, pulled a 1903 IHC, a couple of 98/00 WAMs, and one real nice looking CUD that I think I posted here. My son took all the wheats and the IHC for himself haha.
Here is the CUD in case I didn't post it:

I think you may be right. The die chip in the 9 definitely is larger than the one listed on VV.

Thank you for the update furry! Yeah... it's nice to know this die made it as long as it has and who knows maybe even longer than the die stage you have!

Super cud FF. (A lot of them showed up in 1983)

Is that die damage on the upper left of the memorial building (curved raised area)? (It seems to match the rim.)

I'm not sure if that is die damage or just the damage on the planchet from the strike.

Nice looking set of coins... Only thing that could make these better is if they were in their own threads... Hint Hint When you say ancients does that equate to wheats Have you found any good ancients??? Would be cool to see some of those... Those go into the Off Topic Discussion forum tho That cud is listed on COC under No Date as CU-1c-ND-01 (Zn) http://cuds-on-coins.com/lincoln-cent-cuds-no-date/ By the looks of the rev design and the fact it is plated yours would be somewhere between mid 1982 and 1988!!!

On the other post didn't FF say this was 3.08 g which would make it copper.

EDIT: Never mind. That's what I get for relying on short term memory. That 3.08 was for the greaser.

Hey FF, what is the weight of the cud?
