    OVER LOOKED THIS DDO TWICE.(1942-S-1DO-002)

    THIS COIN HAS BEEN OVER LOOKED BY ME TWICE SINCE NOV,2018.TOOK ONE MORE LOOK AND BAM! I SAW WEAK DOUBLING ON GOD AND WE.ALSO HAS OTHER ID MARKS.VISTA CC & COPPERCOINS HAS SOME GOOD PICS.

      Well how about that! Congrats Ken! Maybe the light was messing with you the first two views of that doubled die, but you sure got it this time! I'm going back to look at yours again and look for stage markers! Way to go!!!

        Ken, do you have the die crack on the lower shoulder going onto the lapel of the jacket? I didn't see a full obverse photo in your pics.

          Very nice!

          I mentioned this one the other day on here.
          It's a sleeper, you almost never see mentioned and the original CPG listed only die-1 which is tiny compared to the die-2.

          The reasons I like it, it's strong, has a nice spread, shows all over the coin, shows nice on the date. For me, it's definitely in the top 20 wheat DDOs. If you see an unc it's very nice with crisp doubling all around the coin! : )

            It looks faint but I think I see the crack...Here's two other pics.
