1947 S Unlisted RPM or Not?

First off, for what little I know, this is way outside of my comfort zone. Because of Will,
(trying to find the right foreign mm),
I dug into some of my past acquisitions and in doing so, I have ran across a lot of STUFF. There is no listing for what I see but this may not even be an RPM. I don't know how to explain it but it's like I'm in a different world, learning totally new things with the wheats and I'm not at all comfortable with it. Cool Sans Serif mm though!!

Please forgive me if this is a step back in what you thought I knew but just tell me what you see. May just be a worn out punch.

    Thanks for looking, Jon.

I could be wrong but I don't think this is an RPM.
I think what you are pointing out is MD or circulation dings at the top.

Thanks Cliff. The more I look at it, the more I see the same thing.

Jon, I am on the same boat with you when it comes to wheats, and especially "S" mint marks! At least when we get a D mint mark with slight circulation wear you can still sometimes see the split serifs.

Thanks for looking Viv!! Yeah, I guess I just need to give myself time to get comfortable with them.

I'm in on the isolated MD on the MM... Question on the E of WE... Is the lower horizontal damaged or does it have a ski slope???

I agree with everyone else. This is not an RPM.

Thanks for taking a look Bob!! Cliff had me seeing straight right off the bat. It felt like my early days on here, trying to make something out of nothing.

By the way, I just found an actual RPM, 42S I'll post shortly!

Hah!! If I think about it hard enough, I can find a way to blame you for all my issues!! Looking for the mm for you was a good thing! I have ran across all kinds of Lincolns that I had and forgot about, because it was before I started searching them. Thanks Will, you knew what you were doing all along!!

Thanks for the follow up... To bad as that would have been one heck of a ski jump
