1984 D RPM? no match found

No match found on this 1984 D it may or may not be an RPM or to miner to list, the notch and line are clear on the bottom of the MM. What do you think?.................dinkyblue

Howdy Dan! It would be nice to get Bob's ideas on this one. I'm seeing the same things you are plus it looks like maybe some slide MD on the top of the MM. I will send Bob a quick PM with a link to your thread so he can take a look for you.

It does appear to be an RPM with some MD on it as well. What makes these difficult is that the MD can sometimes damage some of the diagnostics of the variety as well. I will have a closer look when I get a little time and see if I can't identify it for you Dan.

Thank you Viv for sending Bob a PM on this one, I hope he is able to identify it but it's alright if it turns out to be a new one, lately all my posts for RPMs have been new ones it would seem. Now I'm not complaining mind you, as I really like finding new stuff. Perhaps I will be able to send them in one day for attribution and listing them. and thank you Bob for looking into this for me...................Dan

You are welcome Dan! Yeah - you have been finding quite a few new RPM's lately! That is exciting! Looking forward to what Bob's findings are on this one!

I'm not of much help, but I like to view as much as I can because it helps me, too.

It does stir my interest up to find new RPMs, I would have thought most of the pennies that have repunched mint marks have been found and identified by this time period, but I keep getting surprised! it is a fun hobby. Thank you Viv and Rowdyricster for looking.......................Dan

Cool find... Eric (eaxtellcoin) has access to most if not all of the RPMs that Wexler lists so maybe a PM to have him come look would be in order??? Wexler does not have the 84D RPMs updated yet!!!
