    1960D LD RPM?

I've tried my best to identify this one. I've gone through all 175 listings on CC and checked out Wexler and VV, but I'm at a loss. It looks like it may have taken a hit, and maybe it's not even an RPM. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Well, the bottom does look like hits to me. Not sure about the top, it could have a top split and circulation wear has made it hard to see now. Let's see what the guys say.

Thanks, Viv. I believe it is a split in the top, but if that's damage on the bottom (and I agree that it most likely is) it would make it impossible to attribute anyway, I'd think.

Yeah and the damage on the bottom could be covering up a split that used to be there too so that could also make attribution difficult

Just in case you did not realize, many of the higher-numbered RPMs are small date 1960-Ds so you can save some time by not bothering with them.

I went thru CC and VV... The closest I could come was VVs 011... With permission from Variety Vista and Dr. Wiles continued support I created an overlay... Everything appears to line up but I have an issue with the thickness on the east side of the MM... Rowdys is thin and VVs is thick??? VV has Stage B and C only so it could be Rowdys is a much later die stage??? To me it looks as if Rowdys is a much later die stage of 011... A chime in by Bob should help!!!

Thanks... Now that I think of it the thickness may be related to the shadows on VVs images???
