We "love" doubled ears Jody, and especially a hard to find one like your 1943P! Congrats! This one is probably on Jason Cuvelier's Doubled Ear collage, going to see where it's listed... brb
Is yours the same as Wexler WDDO-019 Wexler's has doubling on the Y, lower bow tie, horizontal crossbar of the 4 and an extra eyelid (wowzie!)
I don't see how this one can be identified as a doubled ear. What is that area doubling? The position, size, shape, and surrounding area do not match the diagnostics of a doubled ear or lobe.

The photo doesn't do it exact justice as an in-hand look does, but it actually confirms perfectly with the line of the earlobe. If I had to think of an analogue, probably the ear on 1943 WDDO-019 which is closely hubbed, or the class 4 1944 1DO-016 which is a deeper hubbing.
Hey Jody! I looked through Jason's Doubled Ears, here is where Coop posted them (not sure if this is all of Jason's Doubled Ear Collages) but I would think Coop has all of them. Anyway, I didn't see yours. I think I see why Bob is questioning it now, yours doesn't show in the pic a full roundness that you are seeing in comparison to the others mentioned. Heck... I didn't know there is a 1941P Doubled Ear until I looked at Jason's collage. If the listing main photo doesn't show a doubled ear, then I don't know enough about these oldies to know
Added: Here is another one of Jason's Collages on errorvariety.com, it may be the same ones as Coop's link (haven't had enough coffee to compare them yet)
