Nice find however you are right it is well corroded, but try some Verdi-Gone to see if you can get some of it off. Still a keeper until another one comes along.
Be careful, you could make it worse if you do the wrong thing. If you use Verdigone check with Thad and see if he thinks it will help beforehand. Goo gone might do something, not sure...
Every error or variety I find is available for trade. I'm trying to fill all the holes in my album. I still need the last four. 1909S VDB, 1914D, 1922 Plain, 1955 Doubled die. My challenge is to complete the book without buying any. I mostly just search and trade.
I admit, its a lot of fun finding stuff like this though.
