    RPM with no matching markers

Although I can find no matching reverse markers on this coin it appears to be a 1957D-1MM-022 as on coppercoins.com.
Is this the same, or is the mint mark's location not correct?
    Thanks for checking,
    Jean

Thank you George! Let us hope someone can identify this one, otherwise I might have to send it somewhere for attribution.

Hi Jean. That's a nice one! At first I thought your coin was 1MM-022 from coppercoins as you suggested. However, the more I look at it the more I think it is not 1MM-022. Your coin is very similar to 1MM-022, but the lower serif doesn't look quit right (that might be due to differences in camera angle). I'm sure someone will come along and give you a more decisive answer.

It's similar to 022, but as noted it seems slightly different but maybe it is lighting or camera angle. The one shown on CC is LDS, your always could be EDS-MDS I suppose.

Thanks fellas. The up close mint mark picture is from my microscope so it is as straight on as I can photograph it. I do turn the coin around and take shots of it upside down and sometimes I can see something slightly different on the coin. I think I will put this one in the send it to cc pile. If nothing else they might need a different die stage example for the site.

I don't think it is RPM-022 on coppercoins. The mintmark seems to be too far east to be it. They are extremely similar, but I think this is another for the 'Bob' pile.
