May I suggest some Verdigone from our member BadThad
Verdi-Gone, Verdi-Care - WizardCoinSupply.com. Leading online dealer of Verdi-Gone coin conservation fluid. Magically low prices on all coin supplies.
But you might pm him direct and get a better price. Not sure.
Im almost positive that it will take that bit of green off there. Still will have the stain but wont look as bad.
Beautiful coin even with it... -
Nice RVD find!
I agree, PM BadThad. I am not sure he recommends his product on BU coins. If it isn't verdigris, I wouldn't do anything as it may make it worse...

I JUST pm'd BT. Thanks. I hope he can suggest something.
You know it's a heck of a feeling finding this 1988 rdv-006. To me this was harder than finding my twpo 1999 WAMs. I have read the resource info. Can anyony one guess at the rariety of this cent? Now to find a
1988-D rdv-006. Another needle in three haystacks.

O the pain
i know how you feel. i found a 88 RDV-006 but it has a big zit right on Lincoln's nose and the metal on his nose is blistered and broken.other than that,it looks real nice.but i did find a ms65 one a few months ago while roll hunting.i still have it.Comment

ANACS lists the rdv-006 on their population report. They list only one coin graded as high as MS65RD. Nice find.Comment

Hey Mousey,
Nice find you got there! Corrosion or not, it is a treasure.
There are three different dies listed at varietyvista.com.
If one counts those and the ANACs coin, that makes four actually verified.
I think someone else here on LCR had one of these, but I cannot remember who.

I think I've answered your question on the CT forum. I recommend VERDI-CARE™ for this coin. It will definately remove the verdigris but you will likely still have some black staining in that area.
You can order the product through Wizard Coin Supply. I do not sell directly.
