    1943-D Wartime Steel Penny RPM

Greetings! I was recently searching through all my Wheaties and found what I believe is a 1943-D RPM. I don't know how to attribute them as far as classifications of RPM-00? OMM-00? etc... Where would I go to find out more info on this subject?

    Thanks for looking-

I've been on the site and wasn't really looking for that info. I'll have to give it another look. Thanks

Nice find... It does appear to be a RPM... There is alot of corrosion though... That could give the appearance of a RPM!!!

Use coppercoins.com and buy Wiles RPM/OMM DVD with the CONECA listings. You have to use MM position and markers to narrow it down. With this example, the notches are clear but with the corrosion I cannot make out any markers to help with attribution.

Thanks for the info on this topic, folks. Would it be adviseable to somehow "clean" the corrosion somehow? If so, what should I use to not devalue the coin?
