    1966 DDO FS-101

Here are a couple of nice shots of my 1966 DDO FS-101, taken about a year ago:

A really impressive, lesser known doubled die obverse from the '60's, don't you agree?

Very nice and desirable coin. Not many people can say they have one that nice.

As I have seen some interest in this variety, I'll bump this thread from a few years back that contained some nice pics of my example for reference.

                Very nice, thanks for posting.

It tells me to focus on the RU, that looks like the best PUP that will show even with some wear.

The RU in TRUST is definitely the PUP. ST is fairly strong as well, but there is no mistaking the split U.

Very nice coin indeed, I had one like that a few years back. A real nice mint state like yours and Mike Diamond bought it off of me. It was the first time I ever found one that nice and indeed really shocked me. In the same brick found a 1964-P 1DR 001, Mike was well pleased with the coin as I was....Great find Dennis...

Great coin Dennis! Your example is a real beauty and is by far the nicest one I have yet seen. These are very scarce in BU it seems.

I have been fortunate to find two examples so far. One, got an AU-55 at ANACS, but the other has some damage so I haven't submitted it. I feel very lucky to have found any example, that's for sure!
